About Templatomato
Templatomato makes document templates that are specific enough to use as they are: written for one job, in one place, under the rules that actually apply.
How we make a template
Every template starts with research. We study what people searching for that document actually find. Often it's general guidance with no usable document, or a generic form written for somewhere else. Then we build something more complete and more specific. We read the statute, regulation or official guidance that governs the document and put each required element in the template. Plain-language notes inside it explain what each section is for.
Each template page shows the date the template was last reviewed. When the rules change, we update the template and the date.
How buying works
Every template has one price and one button. Checkout is handled by Stripe, and you can pay in your own currency. When payment is complete, you download the files straight away. There are no accounts, subscriptions or carts. You get Word files you can edit, and a PDF where it's useful.
What templates are and aren't
Templates save time and help you avoid missing required details. They are not legal advice, and using one doesn't create a lawyer-client relationship. If your situation is unusual or a lot depends on getting it right, have a qualified professional review your final document.
Part of a family of document tools
Templatomato is run by the same team as StrataMinutes, which turns rough strata meeting notes into finished minutes for British Columbia, and ReportDraft, which helps field teams produce inspection and incident reports.
